The Shipping Lead is responsible for accurately entering parts data from the receiving clerk into the company's inventory database. This role involves the physical relocation of incoming inventory from both internal and external sources to the appropriate bin or staged job location. The position includes conducting daily random cycle counts of all available inventories, with an expectation of achieving a 100% complete inventory count on a quarterly basis. The Shipping Lead will maintain an accurate inventory accounting system and ensure the location of all parts is organized systematically by similar part types.

Responsibilities

• Perform data entry of parts from the receiving clerk into the inventory database.

• Relocate incoming inventory to the proper bin or staged job location.

• Conduct daily random cycle counts and ensure a 100% complete inventory count quarterly.

• Maintain an accurate inventory accounting system.

• Organize parts systematically by similar types.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Quality experience in similar roles.

• Experience working in manufacturing facilities.

• Knowledge of cycle counting, inventory management, picking, and labeling.

• Previous valve experience in an inventory control and shipping capacity.

Work Environment

Work in a semi climate-controlled manufacturing facility with a standard shift from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with the possibility of voluntary overtime.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oklahoma City, OK.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.
