Responsibilities
- Conduct intake assessments through interviews with patients and relatives to gather case history.
- Plan and provide nursing care, including ongoing reassessment and care plan updates.
- Formulate nursing diagnoses and assist in selecting appropriate treatment options with the care team.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists and behavioral health staff to design and adjust treatment plans.
- Administer psychotropic medications and other prescribed treatments; monitor and document responses and adverse reactions.
- Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment; monitor for safety concerns and intervene as needed.
- Document all patient information, treatment plans, vital signs, and progress in medical records per physician orders and confidentiality standards.

Requirements
- Active New York RN license
- BLS certification (American Heart Association) required
- Telemetry competency required
- Minimum 2 years RN experience; experience in adolescent behavioral health or related inpatient settings preferred
- Ability to work in an inpatient adolescent behavioral health setting and participate in weekend, day/night rotation, holidays/on-call duties as required
