Job Summary:
The operating room (OR) nurse position is based in Burbank, California, within a community hospital setting. The role involves providing specialized surgical nursing care in a busy OR environment, supporting multiple specialties with a focus on patient safety and efficient procedure delivery. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Location: Burbank, California
• Shift Hours: 8 hours per shift, with on-call responsibilities from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM Monday through Friday, and 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM on weekends.
• Schedule: 40 hours per week, with a 6-week rotation for on-call shifts.
• Required Qualifications: - California license must be in hand, with at least 2 years of OR nursing experience. Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with high-acuity procedures such as lung resection, thoracotomy, and spine surgeries, along with familiarity with Meditech electronic medical records.
• Additional Information: The position involves floating between all facilities within the state. Travelers must commit to working 3 out of 5 major holidays. Candidates should have recently acquired a LA fire card (within the last 30 days). References covering the last year are required, and a COVID-19 vaccine is not required. All travelers are expected to support facility operations across multiple locations as needed.
