Project Manager – Commercial Glazing & Building Envelope

A well-established commercial building envelope and glazing contractor serving the Washington, DC metro area is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their growing team. This is an opportunity to take ownership of complex glazing projects from preconstruction through closeout with a company known for quality workmanship and a strong pipeline of commercial work. What you will be doing:

• Manage all phases of commercial glazing and building envelope projects, from contract award through final completion and closeout.
• Coordinate with owners, general contractors, architects, subcontractors, and suppliers to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
• Review and manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project documentation using Bluebeam and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks early, and drive proactive solutions to keep work on track.
• Oversee procurement of materials and fabrication schedules, ensuring timely delivery aligned with field installation sequences.
• Conduct or participate in project meetings, site visits, and progress reviews, maintaining clear communication across all stakeholders.
• Ensure all work is executed in compliance with applicable codes, industry standards, and contract requirements.
• Mentor and support project coordinators or engineers on the team as needed.

What we are looking for:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Coordinator, Project Engineer, or Project Manager, with commercial glazing or building envelope experience strongly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam is required; AutoCAD experience is a plus.
• Solid working knowledge of industry regulations, best practices, performance standards, and glazing systems.
• Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States; employer is willing to sponsor eligible candidates.
