Embedded Software Engineer

We are seeking talented Embedded Software Engineers with 1–7 years of experience to join our automotive embedded systems team in Auburn Hills, MI. Engineers will work automotive platforms, contributing to SoC or MCU Base Software development with opportunities in embedded Linux, cybersecurity, secure boot, and automotive communication technologies. Candidates with strong C/C++ programming skills and a passion for embedded software development are encouraged to apply.

Required Skills:

• 1–7 years of embedded software development experience.
• Strong programming skills in C and/or C++.
• Experience with embedded Linux or AUTOSAR development.
• Knowledge of Linux kernel, device drivers, networking, scripting, or board support packages.
• Experience with Yocto/BitBake (for SoC roles) or DaVinci Configurator/Developer (for MCU roles).
• Familiarity with automotive communication protocols and embedded software architecture.
• Strong debugging, testing, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills (Role Dependent):

• Automotive cybersecurity concepts (Secure Boot, Secure Flash, HSM, PKI, RSA, ECC, X.509).
• AUTOSAR BSW modules (DCM, DEM, COM, Memory Stack).
• MCAL configuration, MCU bring-up, CDD development.
• Service-Oriented Architectures (ARA::COM, CommonAPI, ROS).
• Qualcomm SoCs/platforms.
• Knowledge of SOME/IP, MACsec, intrusion detection, multicore architecture, and task mapping.
