Director, Communications, Paramount Products and Experiences

Title: Director, Communications, Products and Experiences Location: Los Angeles, CA or New York, NY Pay Range: $85 - $95/Hr. On W2 (All Inclusive) Duration: 6 Months with possibility of extension Schedule: Onsite 5 days in office Job description & responsibilities: Create, manage and execute internal and external global communications strategies for Paramount Products and Experiences. Position will report to SVP, Communications, Client's Products & Experiences. Develop and execute wholistic global external communications campaigns, including trade and consumer press across print, digital, TV and podcasts, for the Products & Experiences division as it relates to achieving the team’s goals and to further elevate the team’s expertise. Identify opportunities and pitch global, national and local press to further amplify Paramount franchises through Products and Experiences. Manage press related to Products & Experiences media events and trade shows, including Toy Fairs, Licensing Expo, Brand Licensing Europe and seasonal product opportunities such as Back To School and Holiday. Write department-initiated press releases and pitches as assigned. Establish and execute global internal communications strategy with the goal of keeping the team connected, informed and inspired. Serve as a point of contact for Products & Experiences partners in all lines of business to provide strategic support and manage press releases. Serve as day-to-day contact for Products and Experiences department coordinating assigned projects, inquiries and required assets. Maintain Products & Experiences press lists. Contribute to publicity efforts across all Client’s Communications teams as needed. Required qualifications: 10+ years of publicity experience required Must have strong relationships with consumer and lifestyle press, entertainment and licensing trade press, and business press Excellent writing skills and superior communications skills Bachelor's degree Strong team player Ability to work cooperatively with colleagues at all levels Organizational ability with key attention to detail Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced deadline driven environment #J-18808-Ljbffr Lancesoft
