Shift & Schedule: Day Shift | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM | Monday–Friday | 45 Hours per Week

Traveler Candidates Required: Yes (Georgia, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Tennessee, and Texas Candidates Only)

Pay Range: $46.00–$48.00/hr

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to perform complex accounting assignments, conduct financial analysis, support accurate financial reporting, and improve accounting processes within a healthcare environment.

Required Qualifications

• 5–7 years of accounting work experience.

• Advanced financial accounting knowledge and experience.

• Strong analytical skills, including variance analysis and financial data interpretation.

• Experience retrieving data from Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and Business Intelligence tools.

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP, and macros.

• Strong oral and written communication skills.

• Experience with general ledger accounting, journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end closing.

• Knowledge of financial reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex accounting assignments and financial analysis.

• Support the accuracy and integrity of financial statements.

• Develop financial analytics and interpret variance analysis.

• Review and approve account reconciliations.

• Recommend improvements to accounting systems, processes, and procedures.

• Provide guidance and training to accounting staff.

• Support hospital financial management and administrative operations.

• Retrieve, analyze, and interpret financial data using ERP systems and Business Intelligence tools.

• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, expense analysis, revenue analysis, and financial reporting.

• Maintain compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and applicable procedures.
