Key Qualifications:

• Current North Carolina School Psychologist license required
• Must hold School Psychologist certification as mandated by the state of North Carolina
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred
• Ability to effectively support students from varied cultural and socio-economic backgrounds
• Strong collaboration, communication, and consultation skills with both staff and families

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct cognitive, academic, and behavioral assessments to support individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to promote positive educational outcomes for all students
• Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and evidence-based interventions tailored to student needs
• Take part in multidisciplinary team meetings, sharing insights and recommendations for student supports
• Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies that ensure an inclusive and supportive learning environment for every student
• Maintain accurate, confidential records in compliance with district, state, and federal requirements
