Qualifications and Experience:

• Active School Psychologist license as required by the State of NC
• Completion of School Psychologist certification according to NC standards
• Previous experience as a School Psychologist in a school setting is preferred
• Demonstrated ability to work with students and families from multiple backgrounds and in diverse school districts
• Strong assessment, consultation, and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and support personnel

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive psychological services to students, including assessment, counseling, and crisis intervention
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and help develop appropriate educational interventions
• Consult with educators, parents, and community agencies regarding strategies to assist students
• Administer, score, and interpret psychological and educational tests
• Contribute to creating inclusive and supportive school climates
• Maintain detailed and confidential records in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
• Deliver professional development and resources to school staff as needed
