As B&F continues to grow, we need Litigation Assistants to assist our attorneys and champion our clients' litigation needs and voices. You'll help lead the charge as we continue to add clients and rethink how law firms operate. We are looking for someone who is detail oriented, passionate about litigation and trial work, and ready to learn. This is a challenging career path but also highly rewarding.

The Candidate Skill Set

• Candidates must live within commuting distance to Marlborough, MA.
• 1+ years of experience as a legal assistant/paralegal
• Experience in Civil Litigation/Defense
• Experience with Electronic Filing in State and Federal Courts
• Experience drafting legal documents such as motions, pleadings and memorandum
• Strong computer/technology skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Zoom
• Ability to change pace quickly while maintaining strong organization and attention to detail
• Affinity for collaboration and a team-oriented mentality

Within 1 Month You'll…

• Complete B&F Training, our onboarding program designed to get you up to speed on our business, vision and team and gain an understanding about how your role fits into B&F's broader organization.
• Start to work on written discovery and understand our proprietary client reporting methods.
• Join a tight-knit team intent on seeing your growth.

Within 3 Months You'll…

• Be able to support the drafting of all motions, pleadings and memorandum independently
• Continue training with trial attorneys and staff who have over 30 years of experience

Within 6-12 Months You'll...

• Independently support the full life of a case from an administrative perspective
