Production Machine Operator

Production Machine Operator Location: High-profile Union Plant, Minneapolis, MN Starting Pay: $22.57 /hr (up to $26.96 /hr in 90 days) As a Production Machine Operator, you'll be part of a team that powers innovation and quality every day. What You’ll Do Follow all company methods, policies, rules, practices, and procedures to ensure employee safety, product quality, and efficient operations. Assist with line start‑up and shutdown in accordance with procedures. Assist with set‑up styles, including necessary adjustments, using set‑up sheets/guidelines. Develop, monitor, and maintain input reports; check quality at shift start and throughout the shift. Maintain a clean line and adhere to all plant safety, quality, and attendance policies. Communicate as necessary with shift supervisor and lead operator to ensure acceptable quality, efficiencies, and material utilization. Demonstrate team building and dedication. Follow detailed procedures to operate moving machinery. Experience & Skills Manufacturing experience required. Regular, punctual attendance required. Basic computer skills; must be able to use computer for data collection. Basic mechanical skills preferred. Forklift experience helpful. Basic mathematical skills. Read and comprehend English. Ability to stand for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 75 pounds. Ability to bend, squat, twist, push, pull, and reach above shoulder height. Ability to work independently and within a team environment. Effective communication skills. All applicants must pass a pre‑employment physical, background check, and drug screen. Shifts 8‑Hour Schedules: 1st Shift: 7:00 am – 3:00 pm; 2nd Shift: 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm; 3rd Shift: 11:00 pm – 7:00 am. 12‑Hour Schedules: Day Shift: 7:00 am – 7:00 pm; Night Shift: 7:00 pm – 7:00 am. Work only 15 days a month. (Not including overtime.) Benefits Competitive pay starting at $22.57 /hr. $0.75 /hr shift differential. Regular opportunities for overtime and double time pay.
