Your new role As a Project Executive, you will provide executive leadership for a growing Government Construction division focused on federal, state, and municipal projects. This is a highly visible leadership role where you will influence business strategy, project pursuits, staffing decisions, and long-term growth initiatives while partnering directly with senior operations leaders.You will oversee projects from pre-construction through closeout, serving as a trusted advisor to clients and internal teams. You will also play a key role in mentoring project teams, supporting business development initiatives, representing the company at industry events, and helping shape the future direction of an established and growing government construction platform. This opportunity offers meaningful authority over project selection, team development, and operational execution, along with a potential path into senior operations or business unit leadership roles.Responsibilities include:Developing and maintaining relationships with agency leaders, institutional owners, architects, engineers, consultants, and subcontractorsLeading pursuit and proposal effortsReviewing RFP responses and interview strategiesDriving project profitability, risk management, safety, quality, scheduling, and client satisfaction.What you'll need to succeedA bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, Business, or a related field is preferred10+ years of experience managing commercial construction projects, including projects valued at $20M+ individually or cumulatively.Proven experience leading federal, state, local government, institutional, or public-sector construction projects.Strong business development skills with a track record of building and maintaining client relationships within the regional construction market.Demonstrated success managing project profitability, budgets, forecasting, change orders, and overall financial performance.Experience leading project teams through pre-construction, procurement, construction, and closeout.OSHA 30 certification and First Aid/CPR certifications.Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Procore, Bluebeam, BIM processes, and construction scheduling tools.Established relationships within the regional construction industry, including owners, design partners, consultants, and stakeholders, are highly desirable.Experience with occupied campus environments, phased construction, and complex stakeholder groups is preferred.What you'll get in return Base Salary $175,000 — $225,000, depending on experience.Flexible work arrangements with a combination of office, project-site, and remote work options.Performance-based bonus opportunities.Comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits.Employer-matched 401(k).Paid time off and company holidays.Opportunity to build upon an established government construction platform while helping shape its future growth.Direct involvement in strategic decision-making, client development, and pursuit planning.Significant executive visibility and influence across the organization.A clear path toward senior operations leadership or business unit leadership opportunities.What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
