Quality - Electrical Tester

Surveying, testing, and inspecting electrical install to ensure conformance with standards. Check for irregularities and defects. Adhere to HUD and Texas State requirements and guidelines. Complete testing reports and documentation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Utilize check sheet and inspect for electrical defects.
• Follow-up on repairs continuously.
• Personally inspect each item written up on the check sheet to verify that a quality repair has been made and that no other damage happens during the repair process.
• Coordinates with electrical personnel to effectively resolve problems related to electrical defects.
• Ensures all safety policies and procedures are followed in accordance with guidelines established by the Company in accordance with OSHA regulations.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.

High School degree or G.E.D. and one year related experience and/or training is preferred.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is required to stand; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Work will be done in seasonal weather, warm and/or cold temperatures.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
