We are seeking a detail-oriented accounting clerk to join a fast-paced team environment. This accounting clerk role will focus on supporting daily financial operations and ensuring accuracy across key accounting functions. The ideal accounting clerk thrives in a structured setting and takes pride in maintaining organized records.
Responsibilities
As an accounting clerk, you will:
- Review and post retail and lease transactions in a timely manner
- Reconcile various accounting schedules to ensure accuracy
- Update and maintain sales commission tracking sheets
This accounting clerk position plays a critical role in keeping financial data current and reliable.
Requirements
To succeed as an accounting clerk, candidates must:
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Maintain excellent attendance and reliability (attendance is essential in this role)
Preferred Qualifications
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including nested formulas and IF/THEN logic
- Prior experience in a high-volume transactional or similar environment
