RN Acute Care Transplant / Thoracic Rotating

Role Overview: Provides direct patient care in a specialized acute care setting within the Transplant Medicine department. Utilizes the nursing process to deliver top‑of‑scope practice, prioritizing patient wellness and safety. Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes and models proficiency by precepting new healthcare staff. Responsibilities: Manages moderate to high acuity patients on Med‑Surg units, applying evidence‑based care models aligned with core curriculum and specialty certifications. Contributes to a secure, safe, and high‑quality clinical environment, fostering continuous learning and improvement. Qualifications & Skills Graduation from an accredited nursing program; preferred Bachelor's degree in Nursing. Current RN licensure and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Minimum six months of nursing experience. Strong clinical judgment, teamwork, communication, and adaptability skills. Key Duties: Deliver compassionate, evidence‑based patient care, support team collaboration, and contribute to safety and quality initiatives.
