Senior Corporate Tax Accountant

Kforce is partnering with a client in the Saint Louis, MO area to identify a Senior Corporate Tax Accountant. This role will focus on federal and state income tax preparation, tax depreciation, and supporting tax workpapers, while also providing exposure to tax reporting, estimated payments, audits, and notice responses. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in taxation and the opportunity to further develop their technical expertise in a dynamic accounting environment. Responsibilities:
- Prepare federal and state income tax returns using OneSource, including applicable corporate tax forms
- Manage tax depreciation for fixed assets using Sage FAS, including asset classification, MACRS, ADS, and bonus depreciation
- Prepare tax workpapers, trial balance coding, M-3s, and international forms including 5471 and 8858 using VantagePoint
- Support tax provision activities by calculating book/tax differences and maintaining deferred tax balances
- Calculate estimated tax liabilities and payments and assist with tax audits, inquiries, and planning projects
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, (MST and/or CPA is a plus)
- 2+ years relevant tax experience
- Experience with tax preparation software and tax research engines
- Strong accounting, analytical and tax technical skills
- Motivated, efficient and collaborative team player
- Proficient with a variety of technology solutions
