Job Title

RN – Medical/Surgical (Acute Care)

Location

Portland, OR | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of patients in accordance with established standards of care and the nursing process
• Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
• Coordinate patient care with other disciplines and healthcare team members
• Apply critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment in clinical decision-making

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor (AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS) required
• EPIC electronic health record experience required
• Holiday time-off requests will not be approved during the contract period

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Prior acute care facility experience
