Wednesdays: 800-1700

Thursdays: 800-1700

1 Friday a month: 600-1400

No medical insurance offered at this time but will be offered in the future.

The Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive nursing care in a fast-paced Ambulatory Surgical Center (4 bed Pre-op/PACU) environment, maintaining high standards for patient safety and comfort. Working day shifts in the Pre-op/PACU department with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2, this role involves direct patient care including pre-op surgical assessments, vital signs monitoring, IV insertion, medication administration, and emergency response. The nurse will collaborate closely with the healthcare team and utilize both Mednet Oasis+ and paper charting systems for documentation.

Responsibilities

Deliver quality patient care in a pre-op and post-anesthesia care setting
Administer medications and monitor patient vital signs accurately
Conduct health and pre-op surgical assessments
Perform IV insertions and manage emergency response protocols
Educate patients on care procedures and post-operative instructions
Ensure strict infection control measures are followed
Maintain precise documentation using Mednet Oasis+ and paper records
Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Preferred Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
Proficient in patient assessment techniques
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Critical thinking and time management abilities
