Note: Active Virginia or Maryland bar admissions are required, along with 1+ year of litigation experience. D.C. bar admission is a plus. Job Description Represent community associations and common interest communities in litigation and general legal matters. Manage assigned matters from initial assessment through resolution. Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, correspondence, and other legal documents. Conduct legal research and develop practical, effective litigation strategies. Participate in hearings, depositions, negotiations, and other litigation proceedings. Communicate directly with clients and provide clear, practical legal guidance. Collaborate with attorneys and legal professionals on substantive and complex matters. Take increasing ownership of cases while developing courtroom and client-management skills. Help clients navigate disputes and legal issues with a practical, solutions-oriented approach. Qualifications Active Virginia or Maryland bar admission required. 1+ year of litigation experience required. Community association, HOA, condominium, real estate, property, or related litigation experience is highly valued. Strong legal research, writing, organizational, and communication skills. Excellent attention to detail and sound professional judgment. Self-directed, motivated, and eager to gain meaningful courtroom exposure. Deposition and/or trial experience is a plus. D.C. bar admission is a plus.
