Registered Nurse – Progressive Care (IMC/PCU/Stepdown)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 28-bed PCU/IMCU setting with a primarily cardiac population
• Manage patients presenting with STEMI, NSTEMI, chest pain, and cardiothoracic surgery (CTS) diagnoses
• Administer and monitor cardiac drips including Milrinone, Dobutamine, and vasopressors
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:3–4 in accordance with unit acuity and staffing guidelines
• May be assigned to telemetry beds within the same unit for lower-acuity patients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum 2 years of PCU/IMCU experience in a similarly sized facility, with documented work history
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience managing cardiac drips and hemodynamically complex patients
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and interpretation
• Background in cardiothoracic or cardiovascular step-down care
