Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant Outpatient Cardiology
Location: South Bay Cardiovascular Associates, West Islip, NY

Role Overview: We are seeking an NP or PA to support our outpatient cardiology practice. This role provides hands-on patient care, test interpretation, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality cardiac care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians with patient assessments, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Order, review, and communicate tests and results.
- Coordinate admissions, transfers, and follow-up care.
- Participate in patient education and individualized care planning.
Qualifications:
- Cardiology / electrophysiology experience preferred.
- Proficiency in 12-lead EKG; Nuclear Stress Testing experience a plus.
- Ability to work occasional Saturdays.
- Bachelor's required; Master's in NP or PA program preferred.
- NYS PA or NP license and board certification.
- Current BLS & ACLS certifications.
