Make a meaningful difference supporting young learners as a Preschool Paraprofessional within a vibrant early childhood setting. This full-time, onsite role offers the opportunity to collaborate with educators, help children thrive, and shape a nurturing classroom environment.

Key Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Hold a valid Delaware Paraeducator Permit (must be active—not pending or in process). Permits pending review require a screenshot of the DEEDS portal.
  • Experience working as a Paraprofessional in preschool or early childhood educational settings.
  • Comfortable assisting children in daily activities, behavior supports, and learning routines.
  • Understanding that successful candidates are responsible for their own BCBA supervision, if maintaining RBT certification. This position is classified and compensated as a Paraprofessional.
  • Willingness to pay the $85 CBC fingerprinting fee as part of onboarding.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to commit to the full contract term—from start through June 2027.

Responsibilities:

  • Support classroom management, engagement, and instructional activities alongside certified teachers.
  • Assist with implementation of behavior support plans (BSP) and individualized education strategies for preschool students.
  • Provide hands-on help for children with daily routines, transitions, and social-emotional learning.
  • Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and a positive, supportive presence.
  • Adhere to all school and district safety protocols and documentation requirements.
