Job Title

Cardiac OR – Scrub/Circulate Registered Nurse (CVOR)

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | 12-Hour Shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Independently scrub and circulate complex adult cardiac surgical cases including CABGs, structural heart cases, and minimally invasive procedures
• Provide perioperative care for heart failure patients involving VADs, ECMO, artificial heart support, and heart transplants
• Support a multidisciplinary OR team in delivering care to adult patients across a wide range of cardiac surgical procedures
• Monitor and respond to telemetry data throughout surgical cases
• Assist with structural heart cases such as Bentall procedures and minimally invasive aortic valve replacements

Required Qualifications

• Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license – NY license required
• Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience
• Ability to independently scrub and circulate cardiac OR cases
• Telemetry competency
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association only
• ACLS certification through the American Heart Association only

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Operating room experience in a Level 1 trauma center
• TAVI/TAVR experience
• Experience with Impella and other heart failure device support
