Job Description
Title: CVICU RN - Cardiovascular Intensive Care Nurse

Schedule: Night Shift

Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36

Requirements:
- Current State RN Licensure
- BLS, ACLS, PALS certification required
- Recent experience in Critical Care or CVICU
- Open heart recovery experience

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide care for hemodynamically stable or predictably unstable patients in a cardiac medical surgical unit.
- Administer nursing practices to patients undergoing various cardiac procedures and surgeries.
- Operate advanced medical equipment, including central lines, invasive lines, and ventilatory support devices.
- Assess patient condition and implement appropriate interventions.
- Participate in discharge planning and provide continuity of care from admission to discharge.
