Associate Attorney

Overview Small, dynamic, collegial and fast‑growing plaintiffs’ civil rights firm in Silver Spring, Maryland seeks an ambitious Associate Attorney with 0 to 4 years of experience to work on federal court plaintiff‑side employment cases, principally involving wage and hour disputes. Responsibilities Case screening Drafting complaints Discovery Factual development Brief writing Motions practice Trial preparation Trial advocacy Qualifications Strong interest in plaintiff‑side litigation and in developing the law to benefit wage and hour plaintiffs. Strong legal writing, research, and organizational skills. Ability to work in a team‑oriented, collaborative environment. Members of both the Maryland and D.C. bars, or eligible to become members of both. Compensation & Benefits Salary: $75,000 – $120,000 per year (commensurate with skill, educational background, and experience). Discretionary performance‑based bonuses. 7 paid holidays (when eligible).
