Job Description

As a Security Guard Full Time Patrol Driver in Baytown, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, support access control activities, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in the job state. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting a professional environment. Pay Rate: $14.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, process-area perimeters, parking areas, and access points to help identify and report unusual conditions, unauthorized activity, and security-related concerns.
• Monitor access control points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, maintain required logs, and communicate access-related issues to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and promptly documenting observations and actions taken.
• Wear and use site-required personal protective equipment and follow established site rules while performing assigned duties in industrial environments.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
