Your work will provide critical insights to support strategic decision-making, investment planning, and financial reporting. This role offers an opportunity to apply your analytical skills to help drive the growth and success of our organization while pursuing a rewarding career in valuation. This is an entry-level position.# **JOB DESCRIPTION*** Analyze complex financial analyses and instruments, understanding an applying accepted procedures and methods of valuation* Conduct in-depth research on industry trends, market conditions, and economic factors to inform valuation assumptions and methodologies* Prepare detailed valuation reports and presentations* Assist management in planning and managing engagement activity and follow through to achieve results* Collect and organize relevant financial and operational data to support valuation models and assessments* Coordinate various phases of engagement with management* Respond timely and accurately to internal team and client requests* Recognize complex technical issues, evaluate facts efficiently, and use strategic decision-making skills to assist management in solving problems* Ensure the accuracy and compliance of valuation reports, presentations, and documentation with industry standards and regulatory requirements* Proficient in use of all technology necessary to performance execution, including advanced Excel modeling and common finance-related software**Supervisory responsibilities*** None**Work environment*** Work is conducted in a professional office environment with minimal distractions**Physical demands*** Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and performing work in front of a computer screen for long periods of time* Must be able to lift to 15 pounds at a time**Travel required*** Some travel may be required to client sites during engagements**Required education and experience*** Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field* 1 – 2 years in relevant position or significant academic background**Preferred education and experience*** None required at hire; must be willing and able to pursue Certified Valuation Analyst, Chartered Financial Analyst, Accredited Senior Appraiser, Certified Financial Modeling & Valuation Analyst, and/or Certified Public Accountant with Accredited in Business Valuation designation shortly after hire**Other duties**Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the colleague for this job.
