Construction LaborerTo provide general construction labor tasks, in an efficient and safe manner, as part of a welding for precast panels.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Completes general construction labor tasks necessary to caulk precast concrete panelsTakes work direction from welding crew forepersonMay perform work of a miscellaneous nature as directed by forepersonUses materials/supplies in an efficient mannerHandles equipment in a responsible mannerFollows established safety procedures and policiesBasic Qualifications:3G & 4G Certified WelderAWS CertificationOther Required Qualifications:Ability to carry out simple and complex verbal instructionsAbility to work well with others and maintain professional conduct at all timesAbility to work from ladders and aerial work platforms above 20 ftAbility to obtain membership to local Laborers unionGeneral knowledge of construction practicesValid driver's license and reliable means of transportationAbility to travel extensively (50% of the time or more, including overnights) and work overtime as neededPreferred Qualifications:2+ years of construction or manual labor experienceHigh school diploma or equivalentPhysical Requirements:Field: Must be able to traverse uneven ground, move minimum of 50lbs., spatial awareness/depth perception, climb on a flatbed semi-trailerWork Environment:Field: All types of weather conditions (year-round, Mid-west and Northeast), dirt/dust, noise from heavy machinery/vehiclesEqual Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
