Regional Dry Van Company Driver W2 - Claymont, DE
Are you a CDL-A driver looking for an over-the-road opportunity that offers weekly home time and minimal physical demands? At American Trucking Group, we provide excellent dry van routes across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic with superior equipment and competitive pay.
Home Time:
- Home every week for a 34-hour reset.
- Our routes are structured to give you steady miles while allowing you to maintain regular time with family and personal commitments.
Equipment:
- Drive late-model International Pro Stars, Freightliner Cascadias, and Kenworth trucks equipped with 1,500-watt inverters and Opti-Idle systems for comfort.
- You can take your assigned truck and trailer home if there is safe parking available.
No Touch Freight:
- Primarily dry van freight with 95% no-touch and 85% drop and hook operations.
- Minimal physical work is involved, allowing you to focus on driving efficiently.
Pay and Miles:
- Drivers typically earn between $1,200 and $1,600 weekly based on mileage and performance.
- Additional compensation includes detention pay as per customer policy, $12 per hour for layover pay after the first hour, and an annual safety bonus of $0.01 per mile for accident-free performance.
Running Area:
- Covering routes in Vermont, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Virginia, North Carolina, Ohio, Tennessee, and Kentucky.
- All tolls are covered via EZ Pass and toll cards.
