Job Responsibilities

• Develop Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' individual needs and design specialized therapy strategies that help them meet their functional objectives.

• Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work synergistically with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to provide seamless, comprehensive care.
• Educate Patients and Caregivers: Guide patients and their families in therapy techniques to facilitate continuous progress at home.
• Monitor and Record Progress: Observe clinical outcomes and modify treatment plans as necessary to ensure successful patient journeys.

Education Requirements

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Ongoing education and post-graduate certifications are encouraged and supported.

Certifications

• Current active license as an Occupational Therapist (OTR/L).
• Obtaining the NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory.
