Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Travel Contract

We're hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a travel contract role at a great facility. Under the guidance of a licensed Occupational Therapist, you'll help patients regain the skills they need for everyday life. Minimum Requirements

• Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college.
• Active COTA license in Missouri or compact licensure eligible.
• Minimum 1 year of Occupational Therapy Assistant experience. (Required)
• Experience in Skilled Nursing Facility, Long Term Care, or Rehab settings. (Required)
• Familiarity with ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, therapeutic exercises, and documentation of treatment minutes per regulatory requirements.
• Ability to work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist and communicate patient progress effectively.
• BLS certification may be required from AHA or ARC. (May be required)
• Ability to document in electronic medical records and maintain accurate patient records.
• Willingness to participate in facility meetings, trainings, and in-services as required.

• Shift Details: 8 hour days; 35 GWW.
• Weekend Requirement: None.
• License Requirement: Compact licensure accepted.
• Floating: Candidate may be required to float to other facilities as needed.
