- Provide obstetrics and gynecology coverage for emergent cases presenting from the Emergency Department
- Manage high-acuity OB/GYN procedures and related patient care needs (examples include hysterectomy, ectopic pregnancy, D&C, ovarian cystectomy, hysteroscopy, IUD insertions, abscess care, post-hysterectomy complications, and exploratory laparotomy)
- Work in-house during 24-hour call coverage to support continuity of care
- Coordinate with the care team to ensure timely evaluation and treatment of patients
- Support labor and delivery coverage alongside a group of midwives who assist MD providers
- Participate in ongoing coverage needs as part of a long-term locums assignment
