Qualifications Required: Operating Room experience Strong communication and organizational skills Proficient computer skills Preferred: BSN Certifications and Licenses Required Active NJ RN license or compact RN license with NJ endorsement BLS from the American Heart Association ACLS PALS Scheduling Requirements Day shift M‑F flexible hours between 6:30 am–6:30 pm Per Diem Scheduled as needed with a minimum of 2 shifts per month No weekends and no holidays Essential Functions Provides nursing care within the scope of practice defined by the Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards, ensuring awareness of ethical standards of practice as defined by the ANA code of ethics. Assures safety in practice, incorporates evidence‑based principles, and maintains personal knowledge and experience. Reports identified safety issues, including hazardous environments and medical errors. Knowledge of the patient population served. Supervises and directs the delegation of tasks to appropriate team members and collaborates with other patient‑care providers. Consistently sets and evaluates priorities through appropriate interventions with measurable outcomes toward improvement. Utilizes the nursing process to integrate all aspects of care and individualizes the plan of care to address a specific patient’s needs.
