A Day in the Life

Across our global Neuroscience organization we advance care for some of medicines most complex neurological and spinal conditions. By combining innovative technology data-driven insights and deep clinical expertise we partner with physicians and health systems to improve how patients are treated and supported throughout their care journey.

Our Cranial & Spinal Technologies (CST) operating unit advances surgical care for spine and cranial conditions through an integrated ecosystem of implants navigation robotics imaging and planning tools. Platforms like AiBLE enhance precision efficiency and outcomes for complex procedures worldwide.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to leaders and teams within the CST Operating Unit to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

  • Manage multiple administrative priorities with strong organization judgment discretion and attention to detail.

  • Coordinate calendars meetings and travel arrangements for leaders and teams.

  • Support meetings and offsites by managing logistics preparing materials and tracking follow-up actions.

  • Serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders responding to inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

  • Prepare presentations reports and other business communications.

  • Handle sensitive information with a high level of confidentiality and discretion.

  • Process expense reports invoices contracts and other administrative documentation in compliance with company policies.

  • Support projects by tracking timelines deliverables and follow-up actions.

  • Use Microsoft Outlook Teams Word Excel and PowerPoint to support administrative operations and reporting.

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and team effectiveness.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Broad practical knowledge of operational systems and practices typically gained through extensive experience and/or education.

  • minimum of 4 years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate degree preferred.

  • 6 years of administrative support experience.

  • Strong organizational prioritization and time management skills.

  • Proven ability to manage calendars meetings travel and other administrative logistics in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook Teams Word Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Experience supporting expense reports invoices presentations and reporting.

For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$55600.00 - $83400.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).

The base salary range is applicable across the United States excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience certification/education market conditions and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).

The following benefits and additional compensation are available to those regular employees who work 20 hours per week: Health Dental and vision insurance Health Savings Account Healthcare Flexible Spending Account Life insurance Long-term disability leave Dependent daycare spending account Tuition assistance/reimbursement and Simple Steps (global well-being program).

Regular employees are those who are not temporary such as interns. Temporary employees are eligible for paid sick time as required under applicable state law and the Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Please note some of the above benefits may not apply to workers in Puerto Rico.
