Shift: 10H Days (07:30 AM – 05:00 PM)

Hours/Week: 40+ hours

Employment Type: Contract

Required Licenses/Certifications: RN license; BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS

Experience: Minimum 2 years OR/surgical experience; robotic surgery experience preferred

Hourly Pay Rate: $50.92

What You'll Do

• Provide perioperative nursing care in a high-volume surgical setting, supporting various specialties including robotics, neuro, bariatrics, transplants, urology, and more
• Circulate during surgeries; scrub experience preferred but not required
• Assist with robotic procedures using Da Vinci systems
• Support patients through pre-op and post-op phases
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, anesthesiologists, and surgical techs
• Maintain patient safety and ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and sterile techniques
• Communicate effectively with team members and patients to ensure quality care

What You Need

• Valid Louisiana RN license or Compact license
• Minimum of 2 years OR or surgical experience
• Strong skills in sterile technique, patient care, and team collaboration
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS certifications required
• Experience with robotic surgery (Da Vinci) preferred
• Ability to pass an EKG competency exam prior to arrival
