This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of key accounts payable and accounts receivable functions while supporting month-end close activities and general accounting operations. Nashville, TN Hourly Pay Range $28.00 - $33.65/hour Key Responsibilities - Staff Accountant Manage accounts payable, including processing and tracking vendor invoices. Prepare and distribute customer invoices and apply incoming payments accurately. Monitor and reconcile customer accounts and prepare weekly accounts receivable reporting. Conduct follow-up communications regarding outstanding balances and past-due accounts. Manage corporate credit card transactions, receipts, and expense reconciliations. Assist with account reconciliations, closing worksheets, and journal entries during the month-end close process Provide professional support through phone, email, and mail correspondence. Support general office administration and special projects as needed. Qualifications - Staff Accountant Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required. Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience. Strong Microsoft Excel skills required. Experience with QuickBooks preferred. Exposure to sales tax filings and 1099 processing is a plus. Excellent communication skills with a professional and customer-focused approach. Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
