Loan Officer

About the Role

A financial institution is seeking a Loan Officer for its Austin branch. This role is responsible for supporting lending operations and managing the full loan lifecycle from application to closing.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and process loan applications across commercial, business, and personal lending

• Analyze financial information to assess creditworthiness and repayment ability

• Manage the full loan lifecycle including application, review, approval, and closing

• Conduct borrower communication and gather required documentation

• Support underwriting and credit review processes

• Ensure compliance with lending policies and standards

• Coordinate loan closing documentation and procedures

• Maintain accurate loan records and files

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required (Finance, Business, Economics, or related field preferred)

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in banking or loan-related roles required

• Fluent in English and Korean (spoken, written, and reading required)

• Strong understanding of lending products and credit evaluation

• Experience in loan processing or banking preferred

• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
