CHOICE is the largest provider of pediatric dental care in the Southwest United States, and we pride ourselves on delivering high quality care to children in our communities.What we provide to you as a CHOICE teammate:Care for your wellbeing and work-life balanceProfessional and personal growthExperienced leadership supportFun and supportive team dynamic with events and celebrationsComprehensive benefit packagePay Range: $18.00 to $22.00 hour (Based on experience)ResponsibilitiesEssential Duties and Responsibilities: Duties include, but are not limited to:Clinical Assistance & Patient Care:Assist the dentist in all chairside procedures.Take X-rays and process diagnostic images.Provide pre- and post-treatment instructions to patients.Ensure patients feel comfortable and understand their procedures.Maintain accurate treatment notes and charting.Prepare and sanitize treatment areas, instruments, and equipment.Support sterilization protocols and infection control guidelines.Procedural Assistance:Take impressions for study models and appliances.Provide suctioning and isolation during procedures.Handle instrument sterilization and inventory management.Administrative & Compliance Duties:Follow OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control protocols.Track and manage inventory and supply restocking.Assist the front office as needed with scheduling and patient inquiries.QualificationsEducation and/or Experience:Dental assisting experienceRequired Certificates or Licences:X-Ray certificationBLS certification8-hour Infection Control certification2-hour Dental Practice Act certification
