In the role of Real Estate Services Agent I, we'll count on you to: * Provide pre-negotiation project, parcel and property owner due diligence and negotiate for acquisition of rights relative to public or private projects as assigned * Review appraisals and research comparable properties, prepare and/or provide QC review of Market Analysis and Waiver Valuations following the Federal and State guidelines as applicable * Verify ownership and the extent of interests, prepare offer packages and maintain complete and detailed records/files with owner contacts, agency representatives and project team * Prepare non-survey quality maps, drawings, exhibits to provide to Owners to aid in the Agent's negotiations * Communicate effectively with internal staff and external clients * Demonstrate strong time management and organizational skills * Experience with federal, state, local agencies and private industry guidelines/regulations to educate landowners to effectively facilitate the acquisition/relocation process * Knowledgeable in title research and utility acquisition practices for obtaining permanent and temporary easements * Be proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Power of BI) * Experienced with relational databases such as but not limited to ArcGIS Online * Conduct research and navigate the Internet efficiently and effectively * Read, review and quality check engineering project plans and legal descriptions * Draft various types of real estate documents, such as but not limited to deeds, easements, leases, and purchase agreements * Be available for travel (in state and out of state) as needed Preferred Qualifications * Real estate license in good standing, or equivalent, as required by law * Database and GIS familiarity #LI-EV1 Required Qualifications * A minimum of 1 year of experience in real estate or 120 hours of documented real estate training * Ability to understand and work in compliance with federal, state and local laws and regulations specific to the real estate and right-of-way industry, such as the Uniform Act, FERC and NEPA * Proficient with standard technology tools such as Microsoft Office and Project * Strong communication skills, basic understanding of negotiation and presentation skills, and ability to work flexible hours and effectively with people of all types * Ability to work confidently with clients, property owners and occupants * Effectively balance office and field work in a collaborative and deadline-sensitive manner * Ability to communicate effectively * Availability to work flexible hours and coordinate closely with management What We Believe HDR is our company.
