Travel Radiation Therapist

American Traveler is seeking a Radiation Therapist with BLS and ARRT-T certifications and at least 1 year of experience for a 13-week travel contract at an acute care hospital in Eureka, CA.

Job Details

• Acute care hospital setting with 150 staffed beds,
• Radiation Therapist unit within the Radiology/Cardiology department,
• Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM,
• Floating between all facilities within the state is required,
• Uses Epic EMR,
• Local candidates are accepted,

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Radiation Therapist,
• Active BLS and ARRT-T certifications required,
• Epic EMR experience required,
• License required if applicable,
• At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting,
• Full SSN and DOB required for consideration,
• Pending licenses are not accepted - license must be active at time of consideration,

Additional Information

• Open to first-time travelers,
• Black scrubs required,
• Free parking provided; assignment parking details are provided during orientation,
• RTO requests must be submitted at time of consideration; minimal RTO is strongly preferred,
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility,
• Block scheduling is available at manager's discretion,
