We are currently seeking an organized, dependable, and detail-oriented Staffing Coordinator to join our team. The Staffing Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring appropriate staffing coverage to support quality resident care. This position is responsible for coordinating schedules, maintaining staffing records, communicating with nursing leadership and staff, and helping ensure daily operations run smoothly. The ideal candidate is highly organized, has strong communication skills, and enjoys working in a fast-paced healthcare environment where teamwork and attention to detail are essential. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain nursing staff schedules to ensure appropriate coverage for all shifts. Coordinate daily staffing needs, including call-outs, replacements, and schedule adjustments. Communicate staffing updates and changes with nursing leadership and employees. Maintain accurate staffing records, schedules, and related documentation. Assist with tracking attendance, availability, and employee scheduling information. Collaborate with the Director of Nursing and nursing leadership to support staffing needs. Help ensure compliance with staffing requirements and facility policies. Provide professional and timely support to staff regarding scheduling questions and concerns. Qualifications Previous staffing, scheduling, administrative, or healthcare experience preferred. Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or healthcare staffing preferred. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with computers and scheduling systems preferred. Dependable, professional, and team-oriented.
