Job Description Join our team as a Senior Data Center Commissioning Lead, where you will play a pivotal role in leading the commissioning readiness and execution for a GW-scale data center campus. As the owner's representative, you will oversee the Developer, General Contractor (GC), and their Commissioning Authority (CxA) to ensure Oracle's standards, security, and acceptance criteria are meticulously implemented. You will orchestrate integrated commissioning plans across levels L1-L5, aligning milestones with the integrated master schedule (IMS) and driving essential cross-functional coordination among electrical, mechanical, controls, and low-voltage systems for reliable operational turnover. Your responsibilities will include maintaining governance, managing risk, and overseeing change control for the commissioning scope. You will facilitate communication and partnership with Oracle's technical leads, the Developer, and the GC to swiftly address field issues, protect critical paths, and deliver compliant handovers that meet both business goals and stakeholder expectations. Onsite in Saline, MI preferred; otherwise, you should be willing to travel 25-50% to the project site and OEM facilities as needed. Key Responsibilities Lead commissioning readiness and execution to ensure alignment with Oracle standards and industry codes. Support contract workflows by preparing and reviewing Change Requests, monitoring cost impacts, and liaising with Oracle PMO/Contracts for approvals. Manage cross-functional resources, proactively identify any gaps, and escalatethem early to keep milestones on track. Project Management - Relationship Management Build and nurture strong relationships with Developers, GCs, CxAs, Architect/Engineers, and vendors, providing timely updates on expectations, progress, and risks. Document status, issues, and key decisions to maintain transparency and ensure closure of action items. Technical Documentation Create and manage commissioning scripts, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and checklists with guidance from senior leads. Collaborate with GC and CxA to compile Systems Manuals and turnover documentation for Data Center Operations, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Systems Design & Specifications Contribute to design reviews to ensure operational needs are properly reflected; validate interfaces across all critical systems. Maintain the Interface Control Document (ICD) and coordinate resolution of any flagged exceptions. Implementation - Quality & Safety Ensure adherence to Oracle's quality standards and safety requirements, confirming compliance with ITPs and as-built documentation. Participate in safety briefings and maintain current knowledge on industry codes and best practices. Core Responsibilities Oversee timelines, deliverables, and dependencies, proposing adjustments as needed to mitigate issues. Facilitate alignment of testing and turnover milestones with the integrated schedule, ensuring all documentation is audit‑ready. Continuous Improvement Identify and implement process improvements in commissioning and turnover, tracking performance metrics for ongoing enhancements. Mentor junior staff and participate in candidate assessments to support team growth. Compensation and Benefits The salary range for this position is between $120,100 to $251,600 per annum, with eligibility for bonuses, equity, and other deferred compensation options.
