Description - What You'll Do

• Conduct a variety of both routine and advanced clinical laboratory tests-spanning chemistry, hematology, immunology, and beyond-while adhering to established procedures.
• Evaluate test results meticulously for precision, troubleshoot any discrepancies, and manage equipment maintenance and calibration.
• Contribute to specimen collection efforts and prepare samples for subsequent analysis as required.
• Ensure comprehensive documentation of laboratory processes, assist in training new team members, and actively support the maintenance of quality standards.
• Uphold a clean, secure working environment while ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree, including preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be secured within the first year of employment.
• Ongoing certification maintenance is required during your tenure.
