Line CookAs key members of our kitchen staff, our Line Cook's are responsible for ensuring that each item is prepared with the highest quality, care, and craftsmanship. Attention to detail, knowledge of menu items, sense of urgency and commitment to maintaining a clean and efficient work environment are essential to the success of our restaurant and team.Key duties and Responsibilities:Prepare a diverse range of food items following Company recipes and specificationsSet up and prepare for service using various cooking equipmentSafely operate cooking equipment such as grills, stoves, and fryers, demonstrating proficiency with all tools and machineryMaintain cleanliness and sanitation in work areas during and after serviceHandle all food products properly, following health department and company standards, and ensure correct temperatures on all ingredientsFollow verbal and written instructions, communicating effectively and professionally with coworkers and managementFollow order tickets from a POS system, preparing orders to customer dietary restrictions and/or preferencesWork in a fast-paced, noisy environmentClose the kitchen properly and complete deep clean projects as directed by the management teamStand for long periods of time (up to 10 hours)Requirements:Fun, eager, positive, and committed team memberExcellent communication and teamwork skillsAbility to work in a physically demanding environment and lift up to 25 lbs several times a dayDemonstrate adequacy in proper handling and use of knivesPrevious experience in a high volume restaurant setting is preferredMinimum 1 year of restaurant industry experience in the kitchen areas strongly preferredWeekend and holiday availability is requiredAt least 16 years of ageAuthorized to work in the USProficiency in English
