Overview Brand Ambassador – Back to Set: Working Directors Intensive Organization: Alliance of Women Directors (AWD) Compensation: $20/hour, approx. 10 hours over the next two weeks About Us Alliance of Women Directors is a nonprofit dedicated to advancing the careers of women and gender-expansive directors in film, television, and new media. On September 26–27, we’re hosting Back to Set: Working Directors Intensive , a two-day symposium in Downtown LA featuring Hollywood directors, industry leaders, and hands-on workshops. Position Overview We’re looking for a motivated Brand Ambassador to help promote Back to Set to Los Angeles film students and alumni communities. This is a short-term, flexible role ideal for a current student or recent graduate with strong connections in the local film school community. Responsibilities Share event information with film student clubs, Chinese Students & Scholars Associations, and alumni groups. Connect with online student/alumni communities (via group chats, WeChat, etc.). Act as a peer advocate, encouraging attendance and engagement. Qualifications Current film student or recent alumn with established ties to the Los Angeles film student community. Outgoing, proactive communicator comfortable with both in-person and online outreach. Bilingual in Mandarin and English is a strong bonus. Passion for film and interest in helping peers access career-building opportunities. Schedule Approx. 10 hours of flexible work between now and September 20.
