Job Description

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including physical examinations and comprehensive assessments of medical background
• Assist in diagnosing surgical complications by evaluating imaging studies and lab tests
• Work hand in hand with surgeons to formulate and implement tailored surgical treatment strategies
• Provide essential support during procedures - prepping surgical areas, ensuring proper patient alignment, and deftly managing instruments
• Administer exemplary pre-operative and post-operative care, focusing on medication management, wound care, discharge processes, and educating patients

Education

• A Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited institution
• Clinical rotations with a surgical emphasis are highly desirable

Certifications

• Current and active PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certification are mandatory
• Licensure as a Physician Assistant in Washington (or eligibility)
