Supply Chain Manager (San Diego)

Background:Experienced supply chain professional with previous responsibility for overseeing procurement policies, standards, analytics, systems, reporting, training, risk, finance, and strategic programs. This includes activities associated with the processes of planning, sourcing, acquiring, managing, materials and services contracts. Experience with category management and strategic sourcing initiatives.ResponsibilitiesSupport management of ongoing supply chain process improvement activitiesAssist with a thorough review of supply chain documentsSupport change management effortsOversee implementation of supply management improvement projectsDevelop and implement supply chain KPIsDevelop presentations for LeadershipSupport Supply Chain strategy development and executionContract Management
Assist review of contractor's Procurement Plan and provide inputSupport development of a RACI for Supply ManagementSupport the review and provide input on contractor's Critical Procurement activities (RFP documents, bidders list selection, an evaluation processDevelop and implement Supply Chain strategic initiatives.Any other requests as directed:Qualifications:Bachelors and/or Advanced degree in Engineering, Business, Accounting, or Finance (will consider other degrees if candidate has skillset and experience desired)7 - 8 or more years of relevant contracting experience5 plus years' experience with Category Management or Strategic Sourcing 5 plus years of contracting experience with complex procurements5 plus years of managing organizational change management efforts5 plus years of experience with project management Ability to thrive largely independently in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholdersAbility to lead and manage teamsAdvanced skill level in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint preferredIntermediate or above skill level with Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, Adobe PDF,Intermediate or above skill level in managing virtual meetings, utilization of virtual collaboration tools such as Miro.ISM Certification preferred
