Salary: $61,000 - 101,000 per year Requirements:

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts, plus at least 3 years of applied experience.
• Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using one or more modern programming languages, such as Java and/or Python.
• Practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Ability to design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices.
• Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Experience with enterprise CI/CD tools and source control platforms such as Bitbucket or GitHub.
• Practical cloud-native experience.
• Hands-on use of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools, with the ability to critically assess, validate, and refine generated outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
• Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity, secure handling of inputs and outputs, and security and resiliency expectations; ability to guide peers in safe, effective practices.
• Preferred: Experience in Site Reliability Engineering and/or DevOps.
• Preferred: Exposure to cloud technologies and financial models.

• Design, develop, and troubleshoot creative software solutions, applying fresh approaches to technical challenges.
• Build secure, high-quality production code and review and debug code written by others.
• Identify opportunities to prevent or automate the remediation of recurring issues, improving application and system stability.
• Gather, analyze, and synthesize large, diverse data sets, creating visualizations and reports to support continuous improvement.
• Detect hidden problems and patterns in data and use those insights to improve coding practices and system architecture.
• Contribute to software engineering communities of practice and events exploring emerging technologies.
