As an Armed Security Professional supporting a government location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond to situations with professionalism and sound judgment. This driving position requires a valid driver's license. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and authorized individuals at a government corrections-related location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor and control access to restricted areas in accordance with established post orders, verifying authorization and documenting visitor, vehicle, and contractor activity as required.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site personnel and public emergency responders when needed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, patrol activity, and policy violations while maintaining professional communication with site personnel and the public.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
