About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of PR, Social Media, and Content Strategy to set and lead the strategic vision for these capabilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing integrated communications strategies that align with client business goals, driving brand awareness, and generating leads. This role involves serving as a senior strategic advisor to clients, leading the development of brand narratives, and overseeing multi-channel content strategies. The VP will also be instrumental in business growth, identifying new opportunities, and expanding client relationships. A key aspect of the position is to provide executive leadership during crisis communications and to ensure high-quality, SEO-informed digital communications. Candidates for this role should have 8-10+ years' experience in public relations, social media, content marketing, or corporate communications, with a strong preference for those with a background in an agency environment. The role requires a deep understanding of how these disciplines work together, exceptional writing and storytelling skills, and a proven track record in media relations, including crisis management. The ideal candidate will have a forward-thinking mindset, the ability to anticipate industry changes, and a commitment to continuous improvement. They should be adept at managing team resources, workflows, and performance, and be able to build strong partnerships across disciplines to influence and drive shared objectives.
